I'm a musician, and I'm totally game to either contribute to this project's soundtrack or even write an entire soundtrack myself. I'm a huge fan of really sparse, creepy and atmospheric music, and although I haven't made much like the original SH soundtracks, I've been trying to learn a lot of those techniques.

Do you have any samples of your work?

I like what I hear, especially the track "Fainting to Fangs" very Silent-Hill-esque

I'd love to help out with the music. I've been writing for about 8 years and I'm a huge fan of the existing SH music. You can hear some of my work here : www.soundclound.com/aaronscottg . Specifically, "Six String Stew" and " Soothing Sin" are the closest I've come so far to the " Silent Hill" sound.

I'm loving the sound in Six-Sting Stew. Soothing Sin is pretty good, too, but it sounds really clean. I'd love to hear it updated with a little bit of saturation on the drums and maybe some noise-based sound effects.

May I ask what you gentlemen use in the way of music programs/editing? Thanks.

I use a tracker called Renoise. Most of what you see on my soundcloud page was made using OpenMPT, though. I also do a little bit of work in Audacity.

I agree with you on Soothing Sin, the drums sound a little weird on that one. I use some sample libraries in Kontakt as well as live instruments and I track in Pro Tools 11.

I've posted another thread. Hopefully we'll be able to get started on this as soon as I get back next week. You can even do a little brainstorming without me, if you want.
