So seeing as we have more members joining us all the time, I think we should have a friendly introduce yourself thread to meet the gang. Since we will be spending quite a bit of time developing this game together, may as well get to know a little bit about each other. It's not mandatory to say anything you don't want to, and introductions do not have to be too personal. Share only what you are comfortable with, never give out addresses, blah blah... internet safety.  I'll start... Hi, I'm Becca aka Siyanna. I'm from BC, Canada and am currently finishing my degree in Visual Effects for Film, TV and Game. I also have a year of game design under my belt from previous schools. I have always been a gamer, since from when I can remember. I fell in love with Silent Hill when a friend introduced me to Silent Hill 2 and have played everything through to Homecoming. Sadly skipped out on Downpour but I'm sure I'll get to it soon. I've always been a survival horror fan and hope to accomplish in creating my own one day. Hi. Everybody calls me Shoe but my name is actually Anthony. I'm from Minnesota. I have two kids who are 3 and 1. I've been playing video games since I was 4 and Silent Hill specifically since shortly after the fourth game came out. Silent Hill is my favorite game series and I started this project as a tribute to a series that has kept me up countless nights.

Hey, I'm Aaron. I'm a senior in high school and I live in Arizona. I currently work at a frozen yogurt shop.
The first Silent Hill game I played was Silent Hill 4: The Room. It was terrifying, yet fascinating. I've also played, Silent Hill 1, Silent Hill 2, and Silent Hill Origins. There are still a few games in the series I haven't played yet though.

I'm Ilisiocles. I've actually never played a Silent Hill games, but I really want to. Watched a lot of gameplay and the movies, too. I listen to a lot of video game soundtracks, and the Silent Hill series really sticks out to me, and I've done a lot of fan soundtracking in the past.

Hi, I'm BecomeBatman, or, Matt, I'm from a small town just south of Kansas City, Missouri. I'm 20 years old am pretty new to the Silent Hill franchise. I was brought up in a super sheltered home so I had no inkling as to what Silent Hill was when my current girlfriend showed it to me. Last year I binge played every Silent Hill Game (excluding the arcade) and very much enjoyed it. At first my favorites were the newer ones but as time went on my list finalized to this: 1) Silent Hill/Silent Hill Shattered Memories 2) Silent Hill 2 3) Silent Hill 3 As for my name, BecomeBatman, I was really inspired by the character, the idea that an average person could make a difference. So I promote this, ideal, that anyone can make a difference in someones life, anyday, no matter how small, that everyone can be Batman in anyway by doinggood and respecting others and standing up for what's right. I work at a local waffle house as an overnight cook, so I will pop in when I can. I tend to be really busy  |

Hey guys, sorry I've been away from here for a bit. I'm LeeCarvallo or Kenji, whichever. I'm from East Bay California and I recently graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology. I've loved horror games starting with Silent Hill 2 back in high school when my friend and I would lurk for cheap horror games on ebay and play them at his house every night. We've been doing it ever since then, most recently with 'The Cat Lady', which I highly recommend since it's rare to find an indie horror game with new horror elements like this. Anyways, I've always wanted to work on a game as a side project, especially now that I've graduated and I have some time.
I have a lot of interest in multiple fields of Psychology like clinical and developmental, even if my concentration was social psychology (because it's the most marketable skill unfortunately). I've taken courses in self & identity, psychology of death, abnormal, and neuro-psychology among 15 or so others. I've also taken creative writing courses and literature courses as electives, which I hope will be useful in this process. I've also decent at photoshop in a pinch. I'm liking a lot of the ideas on here so far and I hope my schooling + knowledge of horror games and movies will help in this process.
My favorite Silent Hill game is 2, and I've played all of them besides Origins. My favorite horror game is probably Haunting Ground or The Cat Lady.
